🔒 Our Privacy Promise
Plain and simple — the way privacy policies should be written:
What you paste stays yours
- Messages you paste into the Scam Checker are analyzed and then discarded. We do not save them, and we never sell or share them.
- Letters you upload to the Letter Explainer are explained and then discarded. Photos are not kept.
- Calculators run entirely in your browser. Your numbers never leave your device.
- No accounts, ever. We don't ask for your name, email, or anything else.
What we do collect (very little)
- Basic, anonymous visit counts — so we know which tools people use most. No names, no tracking across the web.
- Abuse protection: to stop bots from overloading the free tools, we temporarily note how many checks come from one connection (deleted automatically). This contains no message content.
- Advertising: like most free sites, we show ads (Google AdSense). Ad providers may use cookies to show relevant ads — you can control cookies in your browser settings.
AI processing
When you use the Scam Checker or Letter Explainer, your text is sent securely to an AI service for analysis — the same way a search engine processes your query. The AI provider processes it to generate your answer and does not use it to identify you. We choose providers with strong data-protection commitments.
Your rights
Because we don't store your messages or create accounts, there is essentially nothing to delete — which is exactly the point. For any privacy question, contact us and a human will reply.
