About SeniorShieldTools
In a single year, Americans over 60 lost $7.7 billion to scammers (FBI, 2025). Behind that number are real people — grandparents who answered the phone, trusted the voice, and clicked the link.
We built SeniorShieldTools for one reason: to give seniors simple, honest tools that fight back. No accounts. No confusing menus. No tech degree required. Big text, big buttons, plain words.
What we believe
- Safety tools should be free. Protection from criminals shouldn't have a price tag.
- Privacy is non-negotiable. What you paste into our tools is analyzed and discarded — never stored, never sold.
- Honesty over hype. We'll never claim a message is "100% safe." We'll show you the warning signs and let you decide — and we'll always tell you to verify through official channels.
- Simple beats clever. Every page is designed to be usable by someone picking up a smartphone for the first time.
How the tools work
Our Scam Checker looks for the warning patterns documented by the FBI and FTC — urgency, gift-card demands, fake links, impersonation — and explains them in plain English. For trickier messages, an AI assistant (clearly labeled as such) gives a deeper read. Our guides are written from official fraud reports and reviewed for accuracy.
How we keep the lights on
This site is free because of advertising and, in the future, carefully chosen partner recommendations — never by selling your data. We only ever recommend services we'd suggest to our own parents. See our Privacy Promise and Terms.
